A full day of tv...

I usually feel guilty for spending obscene amounts of time in front of the tv... the whole wasting your life away kinda thing... I'm usually one for getting out and doing stuff, you know, keeping busy and whatnot, but yesterday was one of the few times I acutally didn't mind staying in.
Football playoffs were on, 2 pretty exciting games (especially nice in HD too ;) and the season premier of one of my favourite shows, 24. God damn I love that show, every episode is exciting and it always ends in a cliff hanger... god bless my pvr so I won't miss anything while I'm gone :)

Feeling better...

So after a week of feeling sick and weak, I'm finally starting to feel better... Just in time too, I'm off to Colorado this Friday for 8 days of snowboarding! :)

why, why have I succumb to this trend...?

In light of the new year and to start something new and fresh, I was originally going to start a journal (which I'm still probably going to do), but I thought "hey, I'm an interesting guy, people probably want to know more about me" so I decided to jump on the blog bandwagon as well. I used to be so anti-blog... I'm such a hypocrite.

Alright, so where do I start? Well lets talk about the weather we've been having for one, it's January 5th and it's going to be a high of +13 degrees!!! Normal temps are -2, so you can understand what a big difference this is. Being the snowboarding enthusiat that I am you can see how this affects my riding season thus far. That's ok though because in 2 weeks I'm off to Colorado! Big mountains, fresh powder (hopefully) and we're even going to do a cat skiing. I really can't wait.

My brother Vic's moving downtown in 3 days, I'm such he's pretty excited and I'm excited for him. It'll be great having him downtown.

I'm also looking to buy a dog, a small puppy. I've always wanted one of my own, our family has Pepper, a golden retriever who lives with my dad, but he's a little too big to keep in my condo. On my trip to Whiteface in Lake Placid NY this past new years, a few of my friends were talking about their dogs, all small ones, a pug/jack russel mix, a jack russel, a min pin, and it got me thinking about how fun it would be to have one of my own. I know they're a lot of work and I realize that my lifestyle might have to change a little, but I think it'll be worth it. I've started looking, but the problem is I'm leaving for my 10 day trip in 2 weeks, so I'll probably wait until I get back.

Well, this first post has turned out to be longer than I anticipated, but who really cares right? It's Friday and I think I'm off to the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) tonight to check out the Italian exhibit before it ends on Sunday. Peace out!
